At Tosoh Finechem, we have always taken a proactive approach to helping customers reduce the costs associated with the production of chemicals like polypropylene and polyethylene whose performance are greatly affected by polymerization catalysts. In 1967, we began producing titanium trichloride for use in polypropylene polymerization. This established us as a pioneer in the field of petrochemistry and contributed greatly to the development of numerous petrochemical plants in Japan in subsequent years. In 1977, we developed technology to produce modified titanium trichloride as a Solvay catalyst, acclaimed both domestically and internationally for outstanding quality. Such accumulated expertise enables us to supply customers with highly active catalysts that not only meet the requirements of the most sophisticated manufacturing technology, but also can be tailored to a customer's unique needs.
Tosoh Finechem is fully equipped to develop and manufacture other alkyl products and non-aluminum metal alkyl compounds. Please contact us for your specific requirements.
Tosoh Finechem employs the strictest of safety procedures in the manufacturing, storage and transportation of alkyl aluminum products, which are extremely hazardous materials.
DEAC, EASC, TEAL, TIBAL, MONIBA, DIBAL-H and TNHAL are colorless liquids, while EADC solidifies into a colorless solid at temperatures of 32ºC or below.
These compounds ignite spontaneously upon contact with the air, producing white smoke containing aluminum oxide. When they make contact with water, they react violently and produce inflammable gases. Our Safety Handbook (available from our Customer Relations Department) provides detailed information on the proper and safe handling of these products.
